A: Hi all. I'm Cadaveria from CADAVERIA band.

Q: Where are you from and how old are all of you?

A: We are from Italy and we,are around 30 years old...

Q: How old are you?

A: Never ask this to a lady

Q: What is it like in Italy? It's good! Cold Winter, hot Summer, good food, excellent wine, warm people, magic places...

Q: Give a brief history of where you got the idea come to create Cadaveria?

A: Two years ago me and Flegias decided to leave our previous band and to give life to a new and personal artistic project. In three weeks CADAVERIA was already formed... and ready to kill!

Q: How long have you been doing art and musick what are your influences?

A: Personally I sing since 1991. All other musicians from CADAVERIA play since they were children.

Q: How many people are in Cadaveria currently?

A: The actual line-up features five people, but our next album will be played by four people only. Baron Harkonnen will soon leave the band to dedicate himself to his child and to his band DyNAbyte (where I'm proud to sing!). So CADAVERIA will avoid using keyboards in the future.

Q: What type of musick do you consider Cadaveria?

A: Well, it is hard to say...It is a mix of classical heavy metal and nu metal, passing through doom, death and black metal. Somebody told we play horror metal. I like this definition 'cause it means all and nothing.

Q: How long has Cadaveria been around?

A: Since Spring 2001.

Q: Is Cadaveria a solo project and if so do you plan to go back to Opera IX?

A: The band has my name, but it is not a solo project. We are a band under every aspect.

Q: What is your political and religious beliefs?

A: I believe in freedom, in peace, in intelligence and in my brain.

Q: What do you think of Christians?

A: Nothing, but I hate bigots and fanatic people in general.

Q: Have you heard of Aleister Crowley,and if so what do you think of his writings?

A: Interesting... he has been a astute leader...

Q: What is behind the songs of Cadaveria?

A: Energy, darkness, personality,emotions!

Q: What is the imagery you are trying to convey thru the media you have chosen?

A: The imagery of an extreme band made of not conformist people.

Q: How many official releases does Cadaveria have?

A: The Shadows' Madame is our unique full length album at the moment. The second album will see the light this Autumn.

Q: Has Cadaveria played live and if so with who and where?

A: In Italy, with other band from Italian scene.

Q: What types of musick are your favorites?Bands and genres?

A: CADAVERIA members come from a different musical background. Personally I like black and death. Actually I'm used to listed to Tool, Death, System of a Down,Marilyn Manson, Dissection, At the Gates.

Q: Any bands you toured/played live with that we should look out for?

A: No, I don't think so.

Q: Are you or any of your members involved in side projects?

A: Marcelo Santos (alias Flegias) and Killer Bob (alias John) play in Necrodeath. Me and Baron Harkonnen play in DyNAbyte. We will release out 1st album this year, so you will soon hear about DyNAbyte power-machine!

Q: What are your favorite art,books,movies,or TV shows?

A: I love cinema,especially Cronenberg and Lynch's movies, I like all contemporary shocking visual art, I like jung talented photographers and contemporary theater like La Fura del Baus. My favourite writers are Baudelaire,Shakespeare and Niccolò Ammaniti.

Q: What do we expect soon from Cadaveria?

A: A new killer album and a live tour.
